Funeral services for Sharon Brown-Goss, 64, of Picayune, will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church.  Pastor Harvey Bernard will officiate at the service.

Sister Sharon Brown-Goss was born on April 1, 1950 in Picayune, MS to the late Bernice Brown and L.C. Brown.  She was educated at George Washington Carver High School.  She was a lifelong resident of Picayune.  Sharon was a Christian who loved the Lord with all her heart.  Her hobbies included quilting, spending time with her family, and attending church services.

Sharon entered into her heavenly rest on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 in Columbus, Georgia.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Bernice, and L.C. Brown; one daughter, Patrice Linson-Peavy; one sister, Margaret Brown.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Millet (Ray) Brown-Smith; four sons, Lend (Davila) Linson, Jr., Shunn Linson, Gregory Linson, and Timothy Linson; one sister, Barbara Brown; 16 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church.  Interment will be in Picayune Cemetery.  Entrusted to Brown’s Funeral Home.  brownsfuneralhomedirector@gmail.com
