A Catholic Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Mary Alice Ladner, age 81 of Necaise Crossing Community, who passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015, will be held Saturday, January 17, 2015, at 12:00 pm at St. Matthew Catholic Church, White Cypress Community.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 17, 2015 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm immediately followed by Liturgy of the Eucharist at St. Matthew Catholic Church.

Burial will be in Necaise Crossing Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Reverend Adhav Satish will officiate the service.

Mary Alice, a homemaker residing in the Necaise Crossing community, was born November 16, 1933.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Glen Ladner; her parents, Francis Lee and Minnie Lee; her sister, Myrtle “Doll” Smith; and her brothers, Renea Lee, James Lee, Cleveland “Buddy” Lee, and Infant Baby Lee.

Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda Gail (Mike) Ladner; her grandsons, Shea Michael (Dee Dee) Ladner, and Matthew Kyle (Danielle) Ladner; her 2 great granddaughters, Brooklynn Lee Ladner and Elise Noelle Ladner; her 3 great grandsons, Brendon Michael Ladner, Truitt Matthew Ladner, and Cohen James Ladner; her brother, Francis Alvin “Sonny” Lee; and her sisters, Henrietta “Sis” (Tom) Polk, and Dolly Myrle “Baby” (Roland) Fandal.
