Funeral Services for Linda M. Mitchell, age 70 of Picayune, MS, who passed away Monday, January 5, 2015, will be held Friday, January 9, 2015, at 2:30 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home. 

Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Bro. Billy Galloway will officiate the service.

A native of Picayune, MS, she was a retired postal worker and a member of First Baptist Church of Nicholson. Linda was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo Willis and Lena Mitchell Willis; her daughter, Karen Marie Mitchell; her brother, Leo Willis Jr.; her nephew, Ronald “Butterball” Willis; and her niece, Ellen “Babe” Butler.

Survivors include her daughters, Deanna Cleary and husband Keith, Donna Mitchell, and Deborah Spiers and husband Shane; her 2 grandchildren, Jordan Alyssa Marie Mitchell and Jessica Lynne-Marie Cleary; her sister-in-laws, Ruby Nell Willis and Shelba Jean Watkins; her nephews, Robert Willis and Hersey Dwayne Craddock; and several great nieces and great nephews, who were very special to her.
