Funeral Services for Bobby Corent Gray, 78, who passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 will be held on at Trinity Outreach Ministries on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 12:00 Noon. Pastor Harvey Bernard will officiate at the service. Apostle Carl Flowers is pastor.

Bobby Gray was born on July 4, 1936 in Waynesboro, MS to the late Hardy and Viola Gray. He was reared in Waynesboro where he attended Waynesboro School District.

As a young man Bobby relocated to Picayune, MS where he would reside until his earthly departure. On December 28, 1963, he united in holy matrimony with his soul mate, Mary Lee Gray; this union was blessed with fifteen children.

Bobby was a member of Safe Haven Apostolic Church under the leadership of Pastor Frederick Gray. His life occupation was a Logger. He was very well-known in the community as “Mr. Bobby”. He could be called a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and a friend.

On Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Highland Community Hospital in Picayune, the voice of God called. Bobby left his physical residence of 78 years for an eternal residence with his Master. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hardy & Viola Gray; two sons, Carl Anthalon Gray and James Curtis Gray; three granddaughters, Ashley Gray, Brittany Holloway, and Giguilla Bonds; three sisters, Ceather Mae Williams, Deather Mae Thomas, and Sarah Mae Gray-Blakney; and one brother, Ronald McFarland.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his wife of fifty-one years, Mrs. Mary Lee Gray; thirteen children, Shirley (Charles) Smith, Henry (Annie) Reed, Bobby F. (Angela) Gray, Frederick (Rose) Gray, all of Picayune, MS, Donald (Vanessa) Bonds- Gray, of Chicago, IL, Denise (Sidney) Gray-Farrior, of Hammond, LA, Benton Gray, Desi (Bridget) Gray, of Picayune, MS; and Marilyn Ford-Byrd of Winona, TX; two brothers, Douglas (Ella) Gray and Ray Charles McFarland, of Waynesboro, MS; four sisters, Roxanne McFarland-Jones, Ruby McFarland, of Waynesboro, MS, Dorothy Gray Sesay, of Cleveland, OH, and Carrie (Wilton) Ramey; 38 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren. He will also be missed by his special friends, Flora Burnett, Marrisa Carson, and Jena Bilbo, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
