Funeral Services for Betty Elaine Davis Stockstill, age 73, of Leetown Community, who passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015, will be held Friday, January 9, 2015, at 11:00 am at Lee’s Chapel #2 Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be Friday, January 9, 2015 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Lee’s Chapel #2 Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Lee’s Chapel #2 Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Rev. Lavell Lee will officiate the service.
A native of Gainesville Community, she was a very hardworking business woman and homemaker. Betty was a member of Lee’s Chapel #2 Missionary Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Julia Bell Kellar Davis, father, Earl B. Davis and his wife Lois; husband, Nelson Levi Stockstill; son, Rickey Stockstill; sisters, Shirley Furey and Joan Frierson; and brother-in-law, Roland Bennett.
Survivors include her 4 sons, James Bond, Danny Bond, Tim Stockstill, and Brent Stockstill; 3 grandchildren, Tiffany Bond, Chance Stockstill, and Cole Stockstill; 2 great grandchildren, Waylen Bond and Macie Stockstill; brother, Wayne Davis and wife Lynda; sister, Lydia Saucier; two step-sisters, Barbara Bennett, Judy Henderson and husband Leon; two step-brothers, Roland Kennedy and wife Barbara, Ronnie Kennedy and wife Linda; and numerous nieces and nephews.
