Funeral Services for Felicia Dixon, 36, who passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2014 will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Rose Of Sharon COGIC at 1:00 P.M. Elder Donald Hart will officiate at the service, Elder David Simmons is the pastor.
Felicia Dixon was born on July 15, 1978 in Bogalusa, Louisiana to Rachel Dixon Browning and John Nelson.
She was a 1996 graduate of Picayune Memorial High School. She also attended Pearl River Community College in Poplarville where she majored in Computer Science Technology.
Felicia was one of nine children (maternal and paternal siblings included). She was an active member of Restoration Ministry Church of God, in Pearl River, Louisiana under the leadership of Apostle Ricky L. Butler & First Lady Sylvia Butler. When Felicia was unable to travel to Pearl River, she would attend services and bible study at Newness of Life Ministries under the watchful care of Elder Donald Hart.
She worked for ten plus years at Waffle House of Picayune as a Sales Person. Felicia was a very friendly, soft-spoken person who always wore a beautiful smile,
Felicia made her final transition from earth to heaven on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Oschner Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her only son. DeAndre’ Malique Dixon; one brother, Adrian Dixon; and her maternal grandparents, Wilbert & Mother Luella Dixon.
She leaves cherishable memories to: two beautiful daughters, Jacqueline Shante’ Dixon and Tyneisha Nichole Dixon; her loving and devoted mother, Rachel Dixon Browning, all of Picayune, MS; her father, John Nelson, of Slidell, LA; one grandson, Jeremiah lzaiah Cooper; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church.
