Labrie “Mitch” Mitchell, 87, of Poplarville, Mississippi, died Wednesday, November 5, 2014 in Wesley Medical Center, Hattiesburg.

Memorial services will be at DERBY BAPTIST CHURCH, 7 Dupont Hart’s Chapel Road, Poplarville, MS, 39470 on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 3:00 pm. Rev. Jeremy Williams will officiate at the service. Mr. Mitchell was a member of Derby Baptist Church; US Army Veteran; retired Coca Cola Salesman; and owner of Mitchell’s Welding in Poplarville.

Family members include his wife, Ruby Smith-Mitchell; two sons, Tim (Shelly) Mitchell, Kelly (Pam) Mitchell; six grandchildren, Reid Mitchell, Karly Mitchell, Nathan (Kim) Mitchell, Benjamin Mitchell, Aaron Mitchell, and Stephen Mitchell.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Boyd and Rena Mitchell; and eleven siblings.
