Reginald Bailey, 46, departed this life after a long illness battling with renal failure at AMG Specialty Hospital in Slidell, Louisiana on Sunday, October 19, 2014.
He was born on September 14, 1968 to Marilyn Williams Thompson and the late Albert N. Bailey in
New Orleans, Louisiana.
Reginald was a great father, grandfather and a friend to many. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly by his family and friends. He retired as a self-employed barber because of health reasons.
He was preceded in death by his father, Albert N. Bailey.
He leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Teraiz and Regene of Picayune, MS and one son Reginald Jr., of Normal, Al, one grandson Reginald Bailey III of Columbus, OH, his mother, Marilyn W. Thompson of Picayune, MS, six sisters, Yvette Burton (Keith) of Picayune, MS; Kendra Cooley (Vincent), Melinda Madkins (James) and Ginger Bailey of New Orleans, LA, Kim Hunter (Levin) and Roxie Hayes of Houston, TX; one brother Norman Hayes of New Orleans, LA and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at East Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor Brian K. Dees Pastor and Officiant. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
Interment will be in the Picayune Cemetery
