Funeral Services for Jerry Marvin Jones, 74 of Picayune, MS, who passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014, will be held Tuesday, October 7, 2014, at 1:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Monday, October 6, 2014 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home.

Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Rev. Allen Hickman will officiate the service.

A native of Picayune, MS, he was a retired Service Technician for Xerox Corporation. Jerry also was the owner of Quality Technical Service. He was a member of Resurrection Life Worship Center. Jerry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He will be truly missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Dee Jones Sr. and Hattie Nina Adcox Jones; his brothers, Jack Jones Jr., and Ray Jones; and his sister, Eloise “Weesie” Hayes.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Johnnie Crosby Jones; his children, Sherri Hutchison, Philip Jones, Christopher Jones, and Danny Jones and wife Amanda; his 4 grandchildren, Brandon Hutchison, Jennefer Jones, Noah Jones, and Jonah Jones; and his sister, Yvonne Knight.
