On Thursday, September 25, 2014, Georgia Williams, daughter of the late Alfred Cooley and Dollie Sansom, was called to her heavenly home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bishop Williams, Jr; two sisters, Tommie Jean Pittman and Betty Neil McDougle; four brothers, Wilson, Curlee, Rufus and Woodrow.

She is survived by a loving family including one brother, D.K. Cooley (Dorothy); and five daughters, Jacqueline McGinnis (Richard), Marcia Jones (L.J.), Sandra Offiah-Hawkins (John), Terri McPhearson (Willie), and Melaney Baiste; 12 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pastors, neighboring churches, family and friends are invited to attend her home-going services on Monday, September 29, 2014 at Pilgrim Bound Baptist Church, 921 Baylous Street, Picayune, MS. Family and friends hour will begin at 11 a.m. with Rev. Wilfret R. McKee, of Tulane Memorial Baptist Church, New Orleans, LA, officiating.

The family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to the caregiver and the staff and the doctors of Highland Community Hospital.

Interment will follow at Picayune Cemetery with Baylous Funeral Home, 300 North Blanks Ave, Picayune, MS in charge.
