Mrs. Ann Stringer, 86, of Poplarville, died Thursday, September 25, 2014 at her residence.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, September 27, 2014 at First Baptist Church, Poplarville. Burial will follow in Poplarville City Cemetery. Mrs. Stringer was born June 17, 1928 in Oxford, Mississippi. She was a homemaker; a member of First Baptist Church, Poplarville; an active supporter and volunteer with W.M.U.

Family members include three children, Susan Lee (Allen) Smith, Becky (Rocky) Dale, John Ernest Stringer; four siblings, Morris (Nita) Lovelady, Charlotte King, Dr. Joe (Betty) Lovelady, Frank (Frances) Lovelady; daughter-in-law, Susan Prouse Stringer; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Cornelius and Fronie Lee Calloway Lovelady; husband, Dr. W.F. Stringer; one son, William F. Stringer; grandson, Justin William Dale; two brothers, June Lovelady and Bill Lovelady.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until the time of services, Saturday at the church.
