Shirlene H. Davis, 80, of Poplarville, Miss., died Friday, August 15, 2014 at her residence.

Services will be 2:30 p.m., Sunday, August 17, 2014 at White Funeral Home, Poplarville with Rev. Ed King officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Davis was a homemaker.

Family members include her son, Roger W. (Jo Lynn) Davis; three sisters, Patsy Phelps, Linda (David) Alexander, Peggy (Glennis) Smith; one brother, O’Brien Hodge; four grandchildren, Brittny (Vincent) Radosta, Lindsay (Loren) Shorba, Natalie (Mason) Pope, Seth Davis; three great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, C.C. and Ruthie Hayes Hodge; her husband, Durward J. Davis; one son, James C. “Jimmy” Davis; three sisters, Virginia Head, Charlene Ladner, Gail Tynes.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. until service time, Sunday at the funeral home.
