Mass of Christian Burial for James Paul LeJeune, 81 of Carriere, Miss., who joined his heavenly Father, Monday, July 28, 2014, will be held Friday, August 1, 2014, at 12 p.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 1000 Goodyear Blvd, Picayune.

Visitation will be Friday, August 1, 2014 from 10:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery, 1225 Whitney Avenue, Gretna, La. under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Father Joseph Trinh will officiate the service.

A native of Thibodaux, La., he was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Arthur LeJeune; his mother, Leah Guidry LeJeune; and his brother, Charles LeJeune.

Survivors include his cherished wife of 55 years, Cherrie Stricker LeJeune; his children, Barry LeJeune and wife Janet, Tara Garcia and husband Kirk, and Angel Ibanez and husband Bill; his 12 grandchildren, T.J., Tiffany, William, Luke, Kelsi, Beau, Lydia, Isabelle, Kimberly, Olivia, Michael, and Benjamin; his 4 great grandchildren, Dominic, Dahlia, Chase, and Dalton; his sister, Judy Kohoutek; and his faithful companion, Zoie.
