Robert Billie Thompson, 85, of Carriere, Miss., passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014.

A memorial service will be held Monday, June 30, 2014 at Picayune Funeral Home at 10 a.m. with Bro. James Reeves officiating.

Mr. Thompson was a Tugboat Supervisor, a member of Masonic Doric Lodge #205, and a member of Scottish Rite Valley of New Orleans.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Omer Lee Thompson and Era Ellen Wood Thompson; brother, Charles Ray Thompson; sisters: Sue Thompson Cantrell, Reva Jo Thompson Huddleston, Natalie Thompson, and Valerie Thompson.

He is survived by: his wife, Maxine F. Thompson of Carriere; son, Carl Lee (Ramona Reed) Thompson of Carriere; daughters: Aquilla Thompson (Bill) Smoyer of Carriere, and Denise Thompson (Terry) Gaspar of Stephensville, La.; brother, Lindy Gene Thompson of Pearland, Texas; grandchildren: Jennifer Aubrey Smoyer, Melissa (Kevin) Arceneaux and Jeff (Tara) Gaspar; great-grandchildren, Jack Arceneaux, Jake Arceneaux and Daniel Gaspar.
