Funeral Services for Emmit L. Cupstid , 85 of  Picayune, Miss., who passed away Friday, June 27, 2014, will be held Sunday, June 29, 2014, at 2 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel

Visitation will be Sunday, June 29, 2014 from 1-2 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Pastor Darrell W. Worley will officiate the service, assisted by Pastor Matthew Kite.

A native of Monticello, Miss., Emmit was a Pot Operator for Kaiser Aluminum and a member of Christian Life Assembly of God. Emmit was also a Master Carpenter. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, E.B. Cupstid and Palestine Lambert Cupstid; and four brothers and five sisters.

Survivors include: his wife of 63 years, Frances Carney Cupstid; his sons, Tommy Cupstid and wife Linda, Steven Cupstid and wife Laurie, and David Cupstid and wife Heidi; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
