Pearl River Central Water Association has issued a precautionary boil water notice for anyone on Smith St., Old Hwy 11 and surrounding areas in Carriere, Miss., who were without water on June 16, 2014, due to a broken water line on Smith St.

Boil your water for one minute before drinking. Water samples will be taken for two consecutive days and as soon as the results are back, we will lift the notice.
