Funeral Services for Barbara Ann Haselmaier, 81 of Picayune, Miss., who passed away Friday, May 16, 2014, will be held Monday, May 19, 2014, at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Picayune.

Visitation will be Monday, May 19, 2014 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Picayune.

Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Dr. Keith Warden will officiate the service.

A native of Alabama, she was a Homemaker and minister’s wife for many years. Rev. Wayne and Barbara pastored at Eret Baptist Church, Stateline, MS, Yellow Pine Baptist Church, Fruitdale, AL, Johnson Creek Baptist Church, Stateline, MS, Ozona Baptist Church, Ozona, MS, Flat Top Unity Baptist Church, Picayune, MS, Rockville Baptist Church, Jackson, AL, and Pinetucky Baptist Church, Henleyfield, MS.. Barbara was a member of First Baptist Church of Picayune.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter F. Young and Lillian Evans Young; her husband of 50 years, Rev. Wayne Haselmaier; and 8 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her sons, Haynes Haselmaier and wife Janet, and David Haselmaier and wife Lesa; her 4 grandchildren, Jennifer Whitfield and husband Jonathan, Haynes Haselmaier and wife Sarah, Sarah Phillips and husband Tyler, and Emily Ann Haselmaier; her 4 great grandchildren, Caroline, Ross, and Justin Whitfield, and Lucy Haselmaier; 1 great grandchild to be born in November; her sister, Juanita Loper; and her 2 sisters in law, Pearl Jennings, and Mae Young.
