Funeral Services for Barron D. Goodale, 69, of  Picayune, Miss., who passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2014, will be held Saturday, May 3, 2014, at 1 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 03, 2014 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.

Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Bro. Rich Wright will officiate the service.

Born in Picayune, Barron was a longtime resident of Chalmette, La., a member of the Baptist faith, a welder and fitter in the Shipbuilding Industry who enjoyed his gardening. He had a green thumb and could grow anything.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Clyde Russell Goodale and Doris Rebecca Koch Goodale; his loving wife of 38 wonderful years, Sarah “Ginger” Virginia Goodale.

Survivors include: his two sons, Barron D. Goodale Jr. and wife Kim, and Jude Christian Goodale; his daughter, Nancy Anita Lacascio; his five grandchildren: Benjamin, Logan, and Joshua Goodale, Damien and Regan Lacascio; his sister, Julie Lenardson and husband Richard.
