Beloved wife of Bert Burril, mother of Michael (Susan) Stout of San Antonio, TX, Myrna (Bill) Chorba of Sutherlin, OR, and Mark (Brigitte) Stout of Conifer, CO; sister of Yvonne Rose Glenney, Irene Gertrude Meyer, Ann Pansy Sedgwick, Edmund Mansford Raspberry, William Kenneth Raspberry; grandmother of Jonathan Michael Stout, Matthew Ray Stout, William Douglas Chorba, Jeremy Michael Stout, and Christie Alexander; and great grandmother of Liam Mayson Chorba, Vincent James Alexander, Camella Renee Alexander, Jonathan David Stout, Joslyn Renee Stout and Jianna Marie Stout; danced into paradise at the age of 74 on February 24, 2014 in Dothan AL.

Born in Canada on AuguBeatrice Stout clrst 10, 1939, Bea eventually found her way to Long Beach MS in 1977 where she earned her GED, became a U.S. citizen and met her sweetheart (Bert) while attending a square dance. Their graceful footwork and Bea’s petticoats a’swish’n were noticed and fondly remembered by fellow members of Belles & Boys Dance Club and Tic Toc Round Dance Club, as well as by guests sitting on the sideline watching two beautiful dancers as they gracefully moved across the dance floor.
 
After retiring from Turan-Foley Motors in Gulfport, Bea enjoyed her hobbies which included oil painting, cross-stitching, quilting, keeping up with family and friends on FaceBook, reading mystery books, and watching the music programs on RFD TV with Bert. Bea was also known for cooking THE BEST ever red beans and rice south of the Mason-Dixon Line.

Bea’s family invites friends to attend a celebration of her life on Saturday, March 22, 2014 from noon until 4 p.m. at the Lyman Senior Center located at 14592 County Farm Road in Gulfport, MS. Light refreshments will be provided. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice in her memory.
