R.G. Westbrook

Graveside Funeral Services for R.G. Westbrook, 72, of  Picayune, Miss., who passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014, will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Of Picayune Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 25, 2014 from 6- 9 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Memorial Gardens of Picayune Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Reed Houston will officiate the service.

A native of  Mississippi, he was a Tile Mason and a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church. R.G. really enjoyed coon hunting, fox hunting, and farming. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be truly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Ralph Victor Westbrook and Opal D. Bales Westbrook; and his brothers, Sherman Westbrook and Gary “Tiny” Westbrook.

Survivors include: his wife of 42 years, Josie Baucum Rogers Westbrook; his children: Beverly R. Houston and husband Reed, Bobby Joe Rogers and wife Angela, Kimberly Jorge, and Kyle Westbrook; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
