The Class 5A state football champion Picayune Maroon Tide will be honored once again Thursday morning.

Head coach Dodd Lee Ann assistant coach Walt Esslinger, who also serves as Atheltics Director, along with the entire team and coaching staff will be presented the Army National Guard national ranking trophy as part of the ninth annual MaxPreps Football Tour of Champions.

Picayune is one of just 50 schools nationwide selected for this honor.

The ceremony will take place at 9:20 in Kelly Wise Gym on the campus of Picayune Memorial High School.
