Dawn T. Schneider, 56, of Lumberton (Hillsdale), Mississippi died Saturday, December 14, 2013 in North Mississippi Medical Center, Tupelo.
Mrs. Schneider was born April 24, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois to John and Anna Mae Cody Nowak. A homemaker and member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Lumberton; she devoted much of her time to the daily work of the church, in addition to serving in the Altar Society and teaching Catechism; and an active member of Pearl River County 4-H.
Her parents precede her in death.
Survivors include her husband Richard Schneider of Lumberton; two sons, Kelvin Schneider of Pascagoula and Micah Schneider of Starkville; four brothers, Larry Nowak of Arlington Heights, Ill., John Nowak of San Tan Valley, Ariz., Frank Nowak of Charlotte, N.C., Mark Nowak of Chicago; two sisters, Rosemary Smith of Albuquerque, N.M. and Lynn Bernardini of Plano, Ill.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 2 pm, Wednesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 379 W Seneca Road, Lumberton, 39455 with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 am until time of services, Wednesday at the church.
