Hilda McQueen Brown, 86, of Picayune, Miss., passed away peacefully Monday, November 4, 2013.

A private service was held on Friday, November 8, 2013 at New Palestine Cemetery.

Mrs. Brown was a homemaker and a former airline stewardess for Eastern Airlines. She enjoyed playing her piano.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, William C. “Bill” Brown; and grandson, David C. Brown.

She is survived by: a son, David (Nancy) Brown of Bogalusa, La.; daughters: Lisa Brown Gust of Slidell, La. and Kimberly (Donald) O’Leary of Huntington Beach, Calif.; sister, Loretta McQueen Ford; grandchildren: Ashley Brown, Lauren Lipscomb, Kelly O’ Leary and Megan O’Leary; and a great-granddaughter, Nicole Brown.
