Graveside Funeral Services for Walter Frank “Buddy” Glaudi II, 55, of Carriere, Miss., who passed away Saturday, October 5, 2013, will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Improve Baptist Church Cemetery in Columbia, Miss.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 8, 2013 from 6-9 p.m. at Union Baptist Church.

Burial will be in Improve Baptist Church Cemetery in Columbia, under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Slidell, La., he was employed by Lockheed Martin for 31 years. Buddy was an avid NASCAR fan. He was a loving husband, father, and a friend to many and will be truly missed. His persistence, will power, and strength shown over the last year is a testament to his character. Buddy was a jack of all trades who never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

He was preceded in death by: his mother, Althea Kinler Glaudi; and his father in law, Louis Stringer.

Survivors include: his wife, Norma Jean Stringer Glaudi; his daughters, Ashley Glaudi Peterson and husband Michael, and Megan Elizabeth Glaudi and Kerry Parks; his father, Clark Hubert Glaudi; his brothers, Gerry Glaudi and wife Laurie, and Mark Glaudi; his mother in law, Frances Stringer; his sister in law, Tina Morgan and husband Ronald; and numerous friends and loved ones.
