A Picayune man was arrested attempting to distribute crack cocaine in Carriere while wearing his Mississippi Department of Corrections issued ankle bracelet.

On Sept. 9, narcotics detectives with the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office received information from a confidential source that Benjamin Taylor, 49, of 2704 Victoria Dr., was enroute to a location in Carriere to attempt to sell crack cocaine, said Maj. Donnie Saucier. “A description was given of Taylor’s vehicle and tag,” Saucier said.
