Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 10 a.m. in Rose of Sharon Church of God in Christ for Mekenzi Alanna Rawls, 5 months old, of Picayune, Miss., who passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Highland Community Hospital. After struggling with a heart condition, she passed gently into the arms of Jesus.

The Elder David Simmons will officiate at the service.

Mekenzi is deeply loved by her parents, Niya Taylor and Michael “Makel” Rawls; maternal grandparents, Nina Clark and Barnett Taylor; paternal grandparents, Kimberly (Tony) Chapman; brother, Brandon McMorris, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Interment will be in the Picayune Cemetery. The family requests memorials be made to Brown’s Funeral Home. 1011 Rosa St., Picayune MS 39466. Entrusted to Brown’s Funeral Home 601-798-4469.
