Marco T. Becerra, Sr., 70, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at 8:40 p.m.

Beloved husband of Maritza Pena Becerra. Father of Marco T. Becerra, Jr., Miguel A. Becerra, Jose L. Becerra, Marina B. Paris, and Maritza B. Hellmers. Son of the late Marina Zelaya Becerra and Miguel Angel Becerra. Brother of Regina Dubon, Rene Becerra and the late Jose and Miguel Becerra. Grandfather of: Marco III, Stefan, Dylan, Jordyn, Robbie IV, Devin, Victoria, Brady, Alyssa, Alexa, Meghan, Jacob, Breanna, Michaela, Maci, Caitlyn, Hilton, and Madison. Great-grandfather of: Anna Grace. Born in LaCeiba, Honduras, Mr. Becerra was a longtime resident of Chalmette, and currently a resident of Picayune, Miss. He was retired from Teamsters Local #270 and Air Products.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue Street, Chalmette, LA on Friday, July 19, 2013 from 1-3 p.m. followed by a service in the Chapel.
