SEWER LINE WORK

Construction on the sewer lines on Circle Drive is a few weeks from completion, Dungan Civil Engineer Vernon Moore said. Several sewer lines collapsed, resulting in approximately six sink holes on the street. Instead of replacing the entire line, the Utility Authority is boring a gravity sewer line. Tearing up the road would have cost an additional $100,000, said Moore. A total of 1,400 feet of line is being replaced and 400-feet of that is being rehabilitated and cured in place with a hypoxie liner.
