Funeral Services for John “Bear” Smith, 42, of Hattiesburg, Miss., who passed away Thursday, June 20, 2013, will be held Saturday, June 22, 2013, at 3 p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 22, 2013 from 1-3 p.m. service time at Pine Grove Baptist Church.

Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Picayune, Miss., he was a Head Waiter at Chesterfield’s Restaurant and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed golfing and sports.

He was preceded in death: by his mother, Marjorie Brown Smith; and his grandparents, Waldo and Martha Brown.

Survivors include: his father, Donald Scott Smith and wife Glenda; his brother, Kelly Smith and wife Pam; his girl friend, Theresa Barrios; and his nephews: Benjamin, Jacob, and Jared Smith.
