Robin Louise Whitehead Graham, “Woman”, was born in Carriere, Miss., on May 2, 1956 to the late Mr. Robert & Mrs. Mattie Whitehead. She entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 9, 2013. She was 57 years young. She joined New Hebron Baptist Church under the leadership of the Rev. E.H. Hart. She graduated from Pearl River Central High School and worked at Slidell Industries until her health failed. She married Mr. Ray Graham in 1994. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rosa Lee Williams and Laura Curry.
Robin was a humble and kind-hearted person. She was a loving daughter and sister, a faithful wife, a proud mother, and a wonderful grandmother who shared her love unconditionally.
She leaves to cherish many fond memories: one son, Ray (Katrina) Whitehead; one daughter, Olympia (Kenough); two brothers, Roger Lee and Cecil Paul of Carriere; seven sisters: Cheri (Terrance) Walton of Gulfport, Miss., Veronica Fowler (Clemons Lee) of Jackson, Miss., Sharon, Margaret, Rosemary, and Annette Whitehead of Carriere, and Vickie Henry (David) of Poplarville, Miss.; three granddaughters, Trinity Brumfield, Kaitlynn Whitehead and Kelcie Burton; five sisters-in-law, Betty Graham, Evelyn Graham, Linda Gaulden (Charlie), Brenda Kay, and Debra Graham; and three brothers-in-law, David Graham, George (Phyllis), and Ricky (Jaden); three aunts, Dixie Whitehead and Maggie Tyson of Carriere, and Annie Bonds of New Jersey; one Godson, Boderick Ceasar; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 11 a.m. in New Hebron Baptist Church. The Rev. Kenneth Martin Thomas Jr. will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 15, 2013 from 10-11 a.m. at the New Hebron Baptist Church.
Interment will be in the New Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery in Carriere.
