CARRIERE, Miss. —

Tyler Michael Gardner, 16, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013.

He was born on August 22, 1996 in Marrero, La. Tyler was a student at Pearl River Central High School and enjoyed choir and football. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by: his parents, Sean and Kim Gardner; five brothers, Brett Conrad, Jesse Gardner all of Carriere, Dalton Gardner, Logan Gardner and Zachary Gardner all of Marrero; a sister, Ashley Gardner of Carriere; grandparents, Eric and Patricia Gardner of Paragould, Ark. and David and Pearl Conrad Sr. of Picayune, Miss.; an aunt, Jessica Gardner of Denham Springs, La..; two uncles, Eric Gardner Jr. of Terrytown, La. and James Conrad Jr. of Picayune; and a nephew, Ty Aiden Conrad of Picayune.

A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, January 7, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony McCall officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery near Brookland, Ark.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Sunday, January 6, 2013 at the Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home, 300 W. Matthews Ave, Jonesboro, Ark. 870-935-5566
