Greater Picayune Chamber Director April Lovelace spoke to the Picayune Noon Lions Club about the upcoming 64th Annual Chamber Banquet which will be held on Monday, October 29th at The Link on Goodyear Boulevard, beginning at 6:30 p.m.. The Banquet will also honor Picayune Policemen and Firemen. Daniel W. Jones, M.D. will be the guest speaker for the evening. He is the 16th Chancellor of the University of Mississippi and is responsible for the operation and management of a four-campus comprehensive university.  Applications for the newly appointed Excellence in Business Award, as well as the traditional Volunteer, Civic Club and Citizen of the Year nominations are encouraged to be submitted to the Chamber by Friday, October 12th. The Policeman and Fireman of the year will also be awarded. Sponsorship opportunities are available and range from $80 to $500.
