Graveside Services for Christine W. Gipson, 82, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Friday, August 24, 2012, will be held Monday, August 27, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 26, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

The Rev. Jim Prator will officiate the service.

A Native of Donaldsonville, Ga., she was a resident of Picayune for 58 years. Christine was a Registered Nurse and worked at Donaldsonville Hospital, Donaldsonville, Ga., and Crosby Memorial Hospital. She was also a clinical RN for the late Dr. W.W. Oser for many years. Christine was a member of Roseland Park Baptist Church.

She loved her family, home, and gardening. Christine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, James Will Williams and Ina Williams; her son, Johnny Gipson; her granddaughter, Samantha Menard; and her brothers, Jay Williams and Gene Williams.

Survivors include: her husband of 58 years, Arnold Gipson; her son, James Gipson, both of Picayune; her grandson, Jacob Gipson and wife Lindsey of Dawson Springs, Ky. , three great-grandchildren: Jaxon Gipson, Tyler Menard, and Danica Menard; her brothers, Will Williams of Picayune, and Frank Williams of San Diego, Calif.; her sister, Beatrice Williams of San Diego; and her nieces and nephews.
