PRCC tickets on sale

Pearl River Community College hopes to return to the state playoffs for the first time in several seasons this year.

And for those fans that wan to follow the progress of the Wildcats, you’re chance is here.

Reserved season football tickets and all-sports pass are now on sale at Pearl River Community College. Tickets for all four home games, with seats in the chair-back section on the 50-yard line, are $52 each. Season ticket holders will have first choice of seats and must renew by Aug. 1. Walk-up individual tickets in the reserved section are $15 each.

The entire center section will be chair backs for reserved seating.

General admission tickets this season are $5 for students and $10 for adults.

The all-sports pass will also be offered for 2012-13 for $100. This pass includes a reserved ticket for football, as well as entrance to any PRCC regular-season sports event on campus.

The Pearl River Wildcats, who have won four MACJC state championships since 2003, will open their 2012 season with a road game against East Mississippi Community College in Scooba on Thursday, Aug. 30.

The first home game is Thursday, Sept. 13, against Jones County Junior College. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. Other home games include Coahoma Community College on Thursday, Sept. 20 (7 p.m.), Copiah-Lincoln Community College (Homecoming) on Saturday, Oct. 13 (3 p.m.), and Hinds Community College on Thursday, Oct. 25 (7 p.m.). Other road games this fall include Mississippi Delta Community College on Thursday, Sept. 6, Southwest Community College on Thursday, Sept. 27, Gulf Coast Community College on Thursday, Oct. 4, and East Central Community College on Thursday, Oct. 18.
