Funeral Services for Blanche W. Rankin, 80, of Henleyfield Community, Miss., who passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012, will be held Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Henleyfield Cemetery.

Burial will be in Henleyfield Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A Native of Henleyfield, she was a missionary wife and a member of Pinetucky Baptist Church.

Her greatest achievement was being the wife of missionary Z.T. Rankin. Mrs. Rankin was the backbone of his mission work for 11 years in Japan, short wave radio ministry, spreading bibles and religious material to Russia and China for 32 years. We will never know how many people around the world received the gospel because of her service.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton A. Burge and Flossie Smith Burge, her husband of 46 years, Z.T. Rankin.

Survivors include: one daughter, three sons, one step-daughter; 12 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and one sister.
