Members of the Garden Club of Picayune gathered recently for a special planning session. This fall marks their 60th year as a club. Plans are underway for a reception in September to honor past presidents of the Garden Club. Many exciting ideas for this notable club year are taking shape as preparations continue. The club meets every second Thursday from September to May at the Crosby Reed Memorial Library from 9:30 am until noon. Dues are $18 annually. Picayune residents are invited to join.
