Jason Alligood is a local EMT and first responder/firefighter for Pine Grove Volunteer Fire Department. Alligood recently broke the head of his right humerus bone, putting him out of work for a minimum of two months without pay. The Carriere Volunteer Fire Department will be holding a huge yard sale fundraiser in support of Alligood Saturday, April 14, 2012 beginning at 8 a.m.

The fire station, located at 7414 Highway 11 in Carriere, invites all to come out and show support for Alligood and his family while he recovers.

Item donations should be dropped off during the morning hours. Funds raised will go toward surgery, physician bills and household expenses during the recovery process.
