Janice Walker Blodgett, 96, of Picayune, Miss., passed away Sunday, April 1, 2012 in Picayune.

A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Dr. Morris Baker officiating.

Mrs. Blodgett was resident of Pearl River County for thirty years and was a bookkeeper at Transoceanic Shipping in New Orleans, La.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis E. Blodgett.

She is the beloved mother of: William E. Blodgett of Lafayette, La, Janice Kling of Picayune,  Sallie (Wallace) Harper of Houston, Texas, and Betty Allen of Lafayette; the beloved grandmother of: Darla (Morris) Baker, Darren (Lise) Kling, Andrew (Paulina) Harper, Weston Harper and Sarah (Sean) Pope; the beloved great-grandmother of seven great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home and Crematory.
