Rotary St. Patrick’s Day 5K Run/ Walk

The Rotary Club of Picayune held it’s first St. Patrick Day 5K Run/Walk on Saturday to benefit Rotary special projects.

Walk Chair, Stewart Huey, said, “This a good turn out for our first event and solid platform to build on for next year.”

Age groups ranged from 12 and under to 64-years of age.

Overall Winner from women’s group was Amanda Lawrence with a time of 31:37. Overall Winner from the men’s group was Chris Fleming with a time of 21:23.

Here were the first place winners and their age groups, beginning with the women’s group: 0 to 12 years: Lauren Huey; 19 to 24 years: Amanda Dearman; 25 to 29 years: Amanda Krause; 30 to 34 years: Amanda Lawrence; 35 to 39 years: Dawn Timmon; 40 to 44 years: Patricia Runyun; 45 to 49 years: Liz Pigott; 50 to 54 years: Ann McDonald; 55 to 59 years: Tricia Goff and 60 to 64 years: Elizabeth Bruno.

Men’s group winners were: 30 to 34 years: Trey Combs; 35 to 39 years: Neal Glen; 40 to 44 years: Jeff Buntin; 45 to 49 years: Chris Fleming; 50 to 54 years: Kevin Fleming; 55 to 59 years: Ted Smith and 60 to 64 years: Allen Goff.
