William Furman Shoff

Memorial services were held Sunday, January 22, 2012 at First Presbyterian Church in Picayune, Miss., for William Furman Shoff, 80, of Picayune, who passed away Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Highland Community Hospital.

A native of Akron, Ohio, he was a retired HVAC technician and owner of Shoff’s Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, as well as, Head Scheduler of stage testing for North American Rockwell at Stennis Space Center, a member of First Presbyterian Church Picayune, and a United States Air Force veteran serving overseas during the Korean Conflict.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Russell John and Mary Jane (Schweitzer) Shoff, and his wife, Mary Lee (Moore) Shoff. Survivors include: two sons, William David Shoff of Picayune, James Franklin and wife Wendy Shoff of Prairieville, La.; a daughter, Sally Rene and husband Ricky Moore of Biloxi, Miss.; five sisters: Margaret Fekete, Mary Jane Sams, Sandy Layman, Judy Rae Haley and Sharon Shoff all of Prescott, Ariz.; eight grandchildren: Elisa Shoff, William Zachary Shoff, Gregory Moore, William Moore, Alex Moore, Emily Shoff Wohlgemuth, Lauren Shoff and Kimberly Shoff.
