Theodore Frederick Schaller, 67, passed peacefully on Monday January 16, 2012.

Beloved husband of the late Elaine Scioneaux Schaller. Father of Tammy Schaller Thiberville (David) and Frederick Jack Schaller. Grandfather of Daniel Joseph Thiberville, Megan Elizabeth Thiberville and Heather Lynn Schaller. Son of the late Frederick and Florence Schaller. Brother of Martha Schaller Buzzinotti, Elizabeth Schaller Hanslick (Ben), Ronald Schaller (Janet), Donald Schaller and the late Mickal Schaller. He is also survived by a host of loving nieces and nephews.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to his very special friend and companion, Rosemary Backes. Mr. Schaller was a native New Orleanian, and resided in Harvey for the last 24 years. He passionately shared his love for the great outdoors, camping, amateur photography and rock polishing with all of his friends and family.

Ted took pride in his is work as a welder. He proudly displayed the American Flag in all of his surroundings and his patriotism was deep rooted in his soul.

Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of Textron Marine & Land Systems are invited to attend Funeral Service at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, La. on Friday, January 20, 2012 at 1p.m. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Interment to immediately follow at New Palestine Cemetery in Picayune, Miss.
