Funeral services for Terrence “Terry” Allen Ryan, 34, of Poplarville, who passed away Thursday, January 26, 2012 in Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Miss., will be held Monday, January 30, 2012 at 12 p.m. at White Funeral Home, Poplarville.

Visitation will be Monday, January 30, 2012 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Interment will be at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery in Lumberton under the direction of White Funeral Home, Poplarville.

Father Joseph Truong Trinh of St. Joseph Church will officiate at the services.

Terry was born March 28, 1977 in New Orleans, La. His family moved to Poplarville in 1983 where he attended Poplarville Public Schools. He was active in Poplarville High School Football and in DECA and won awards in state competitions. He worked for Greer’s Tiger Foods while he was in school. He later became a truck driver for Waggoner’s. He married Brandy Kay Smith and they had one daughter, Savannah Marie Ryan.

He was a great husband, father, son and had many, many friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by: his grandparents, Ray Crotwell and Joseph and Helen Ryan; three uncles, Arnold J. Matherne, Joseph Ryan and Harold Ryan; niece, Christina Horne Clark and great niece, Tiffany Clark.

Survivors include: his wife, Brandy Kay Smith Ryan of Poplarville; one daughter, Savannah Marie Ryan of Poplarville; his mother, Deborah Crotwell Ryan of Poplarville; one brother, Thomas Nolan Ryan of Thibodaux, La.; his grandmothers, Marie Folse Crotwell of Poplarville and Clara Faye Lee of Poplarville; his father, Terrence (Kathy) Ryan of Ontario, Calif.; brothers-in-laws, TJohn Bullock of Picayune and Tommy Smith of Picayune; sisters-in-law, Lauren Bullock of Picayune and Melonie Smith of McNeill; one special niece whom he considered like a daughter, Diana Smith of McNeill; father-in-law, John Bullock; mother-in-law, Sandra Smith Bullock; step-sister, Colleen Quinn of California and step-brother, Sean Quinn of California; aunts and uncles, Carol Crotwell Matherne of Slidell, La., Elaine Crotwell Horne of Jackson, Miss., Jimmy Crotwell of Laurel, Miss., Maggie (Dan) LePine of Downer’s Grove, Ill., Debbie Anetsberger of Berwyn, Ill., Kenny (Kim) Lee of Poplarville, and Carol and Alana Woods of Saucier, Miss., and many other nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and friends.
