Three of four juveniles who escaped from Forrest County’s juvenile detention facility Sunday are back in custody.

Sheriff Billy McGee one one was arrested early Wednesday morning, another around midday and the third during the afternoon.

McGee said earlier this week that four juveniles escaped the facility Sunday afternoon when they overpowered a lone guard and used the detention center’s control room to unlock the back door and scale the fence.

He said whether the juveniles will be charged as adults for their escape and assault of the guard is up to Forrest County’s county court.
