Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2011, at 11:30 a.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church for Willie Mae Thompson Seal, 91, of Picayune, who passed away Saturday, July 2, 2011 in Chattanooga, Tenn. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.

The Rev. Tim Mims and Dr. Reggie Bridges will officiate at the service.

A native of Picayune, she was a retired cafeteria manager in the Picayune School District. She was the eldest member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Willis Seal; her parents, Will and Dora Thompson; a brother, James Thompson; and two sisters, Clara Wheat and Ruby Lee.

She was the beloved mothers of William “Billy” Floyd Seal (Elizabeth) and Jeanette Stuart of Picayune. She was the grandmother of Monte Stuart (Becky), Kerri Herrin (Mike), Todd Seal (Cassie), and Susan Heaslip (Miles). She had 10 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, C.L. Thompson; a sister-in-law, Louise Thompson; many nephews and nieces; and by dear family friends, Bob and Margaret Nix.

Visitation will be held at Pine Grove Baptist Church from 9:30 a.m. until the service at 11:30 a.m.

Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
