Former Columbia Mayor Harold Bryant and several current and former Columbia aldermen have asked a federal judge to be removed a lawsuit filed by a woman who claims her rights were violated when the city shut down her business in 2007.

Former Aldermen Carolyn Finley, David McCance and James Manning and current Aldermen Wendell Hammond and Cheryl Bourne filed the motion with Bryant.

Sheila Aikens Walker of Columbia alleges the city gave her licenses to operate a sports bar next to her home but pulled the licenses when officials allegedly discovered a zoning violation. She says there was no violation.
