The state Highway Patrol says almost 200 people were arrested over the holiday weekend for DUIs through midnight Sunday.
Another 154 were cited for improper seat belt use.
Master Sgt. Johnny Poulos, spokesman for the state Highway Patrol, said DUI arrests have increased since last year, but the seat belt citations have gone down.
There were 192 DUI arrests, up from total of 168 DUIs for the entire Independence Day weekend last year.
State police also made 10 drug arrests and 15 felony arrests. There were 43 citations issued for improper child restraint.
The arrests, citations and accidents from Monday will be reported Tuesday.
