Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 12 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for Mildred J. Carver, 95, of Pearl River, La., who passed away Saturday, June 25, 2011 in Pearl River.

Burial will be in Turtleskin Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Hancock County, Miss., she was a Homemaker and a member of the Baptist Faith.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Conley A Carver; her parents, Buck Blackwell and Selina Smith Blackwell; one son, Edgar Morris; and one daughter, Myrtis A. Carver.

Survivors include: two sons, Conley L. Carver of Pearl River, La., and Robert Bruce Carver of Pearl River; two daughters, Mildred M. Ervin of Pearl River and Rose C. Smith of Pearl River; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 28, 2011 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.
