Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 11 a.m. in Bethlehem Baptist Church in Picayune for Mrs. Willia Allen, 62, of Hattiesburg, Miss., who passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2011 in Hattiesburg.

The Rev. Louis Thomas will officiate at the service. Burial will be in the Picayune Cemetery under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.

A native of Hattiesburg, she was a Nursing Assistant and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Hattiesburg.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Winfield Harper; son, Winfield Harper Jr; parents, Willie McDonald Jr. and Birdie Harness; two brothers, Charles Williams McDonald Jr. and Bobby McDonald; and two sisters, Charlene McDonald and Willie Ethel McDonald.

Survivors include: two sons, Marvin Harper and Tommy Harper of Picayune; four daughters, Birdie Holloway of Hattiesburg, Lois McNair, Judy Harper and Cynthia Harper all of Picayune; three adopted children, Michael Harper, Star Coleman and Malik Causey; one brother, Roosvelt McDonald of Picayune; one stepbrother, Willie Charles McDonald of Hattiesburg; four sisters, Beatrice McDonald of Chicago, Ill., Ruby Smith, Claretta McDonald and Ida McDonald all of Picayune; six grandsons, Mitchell, Joe, Terrance, Devlin, Levester and Marvin Jr.; three granddaughters, Marrissa, Tamika and Brittany; nine great-grandchildren, Maylia, Zaye, Jaylin, James, Misery, Joseph, Mathel, J’Darius and NeNe; and best friends, Larry Gray of Hattiesburg, Eula Woods and Carolyn Scott both of Picayune.
