Funeral services will be held Friday, May 6, 2011 at 12 noon in Pilgrim Bound Baptist Church for Mrs. Evelyn Williams, 89, of Picayune who passed away Sunday, May 1, 2011 in Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Miss.

The Rev. Delbert Hall will officiate at the service.

Burial will be in the Picayune Cemetery under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.

A native of Westonia, Miss., she was retired from Picayune Public Schools. She was a member of the Pilgrim Bound Baptist Church, a member of Senior Mission, Senior Choir and Sunday School; and a Member of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include: three sons, Walter S. William “Pone” of Picayune, Arrealus “Bo” Williams of Tuscaloosa, Okla., and Calvin Williams of Los Angeles, Calif.; three daughters, Idella Potts and Bernie Saxton of Picayune, and Doris Staten of Parsons, Kan.; 10 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, May 6, 2011 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. in Pilgrim Bound Baptist Church.
