Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 4 p.m. in the New Palestine Baptist Church for Donna Lynn Walker Wheat, 55, of Picayune, who passed away Monday, May 9, 2011 in Picayune.

Burial will be in the New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

The Rev. Kirk Hoelzel will officiate at the service.

A native of Picayune, she was a Homemaker and a member of New Palestine Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Glen Walker and Norma Jean Mitchell Walker.

Survivors include: her husband, Johnny Ray Wheat of Picayune; her daughter, Kristen Wheat of Picayune; her granddaughter, Presley Wheat of Picayune; her brother, Scotty Glen Walker of Poplarville; her nephew, Michael Walker of Picayune; and her niece, Sara Walker of Picayune.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 12, 2011 from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. in New Palestine Baptist Church.
